Cornfield’s directors enjoyed a night of the Grammy-award winning artist’s best-loved songs, with a special appearance from Blue Cantrell. For his first Arena concert appearance in Birmingham, Sean Paul did not disappoint. Playing his classic hits, plus some surprise extras, Sean Paul entertained the eager crowd of all ages.

Presented by One Music Management, the Jamaican favourite delivered an electric show featuring several of his world-famous hits. Not only did the artist deliver an exceptional performance for the people of the Midlands, but partnered with Global’s 102.2 Capital FM to support Global’s Make Some Noise Charity. A donation from every ticket sale was made to the national grant-giving charity, aiming to make a chance to young people’s lives.

The venue was packed, with a huge range of attendees of all ages, highlighting the artist’s huge appeal and ability to entertain different generations. Bouncing off the energy from a crowd of over 15, 000, Sean Paul performed his hits brilliantly. Having collaborated with artists from a variety of genres, the Reggae legend has built-up an impressive catalogue of popular tracks such as ‘Cheap Thrills’ (Sia), ‘Rockabye’ (Cheap Thrills), and ‘No Lie’ (ft. Dua Lipa). Sean Paul is no stranger to the charts’ top spots having secured hits in several countries.

Back in 2002, following the release of his ‘Dutty Rock’ album, Sean Paul soared into the public eye and has remained there ever since. His two number one singles ‘Get Busy’ and Beyonce’s ‘Baby Boy’ were downloaded by millions, and secured the artist several thousands of more fans. The event demonstrated Sean Paul’s ability to entertain a crowd of thousands, unsurprising after his appearance at festivals all over the world.

The crowd stood on their feet to dance, sing and clap to music from Dancehall, Reggae R&B, HipHop, Dance and Pop – meaning there was a little something for everyone. The fantastic performance from Sean Paul was enhanced by the incredible production, making for an unforgettable event. The crowd’s reaction said it all - a standing ovation as the musician exited the stage.
