Foodies in Solihull are in for a treat this Winter as a leading local restaurant has just unveiled its latest addition – a brand new wood fired oven. And there’s a delicious new menu to get it warmed up too! The Forest Hotel, in Dorridge, has launched its new wood fired menu just at the right time, as the nights start to draw in and the woolly jumpers come out of hibernation.


Diners can relax in the welcoming, contemporary restaurant, grab a drink and order a delicious treat from the new menu, which includes a range of wood fired pizzas, guaranteed to tickle the tastebuds of the most discerning diner. 

The new menu includes an array of delicious dishes, including fillet steak on the bone and kiln fired king prawns, along with firm Forest favourite, homemade faggots.

The whole restaurant has undergone a refurbishment, creating a more open space and relaxed dining experience. 

Owner and Director of The Forest Hotel, Tracy Perkins, said: “We’re really excited to be offering our customers this fantastic new menu. The installation of the wood fired oven means we can bring the outside inside this Winter! 

“The bar and restaurant areas look great following the refurbishment, we’ve really opened the place up offering a more inclusive dining experience. Customers are able to see into the kitchen and watch the wood fired oven in action. They can see their meals being cooked and delivered to their table. It gives a really warm feeling to the whole room, perfect for the cold nights ahead!
