Located in the rural village of Balsall Common in Warwickshire, The White Horse offers visitors a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a great dining experience or an evening drink.

Serving menus inspired by seasonal ingredients sourced from local suppliers wherever possible, the food served at The White Horse is fresh and flavoursome.

The venue definitely feels like a traditional country pub, but still upholds a great modern feel; the interior is clean and fresh with a cosy vibe. Situated close to the NEC and Birmingham Airport, The White Horse is very accessible and a great stop off for visitors looking for a great-quality Sunday roast, light bite or evening meal.

For those opting for a drink after work on a hot summer’s day, The White Horse is a great venue to try. Chilled largers, real cask ales, new and old world wines and Champagne are all readily available, as well as spirits with tasty mixers for customers that prefer an ice-cold G&T in the sun. With a spacious garden and decking area, The White Horse makes a great spot to enjoy a quiet drink.

Arguably, the best thing about The White Horse dining experience is the quality and freshness of the food served – homemade stone baked pizzas, grilled fish, tapas sharing plates and traditional British cuisine are all on offer.

With a great level of service, attention to detail and friendly atmosphere, The White Horse in Balsall Common is an excellent venue to check out if you are ever in the area.

Cornfield Recommends: The stone baked pizza selection – The White Horse offer 2 for 1 pizzas mid-week during selected times. All pizzas are made fresh and a variety of mouth-watering toppings are available.

Parlez Vous Brings Links With The Lions

The White Horse pub and restaurant in Balsall Common have also launched a brand new wine list – having formed a fundraising link with The Balsall Common Lions Club.

For the next 12 months, customers who enjoy a good red are urged to choose the 'Parlez Vous Malbec' as £1 from every bottle sold will be donated to the local group of Lions, part of Lions Clubs International, a network of volunteers who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.

Alastair Tyson, owner of The White Horse said: "We've been supporting charities for a number of years now through dining donations so we thought it was time fo change.  There's some additional good news - as well as fundraising for a great cause - if you choose the Parlez Vous Malbec on a Thursday - our 'wine'down' day - there's £5 off the bottle too.

Mark Whitfield, Membership Director, Balsall Common Lions Club said: "We’re really pleased to have an association with The White Horse – a good pub, great food and the Parlez-Vous Malbec is delicious!  We have a few other ideas for our partnership in the pipeline – watch our social media channels for announcements in the near future.”
