Some people talk the talk but don’t walk the walk, one person that puts her money where her mouth is, is comedian Eleanor Conway.  Her debut stand up show ‘Walk of Shame’, enjoyed sell out audiences and immense critical success on the free fringe last year, since then she’s been honing the show on a 30 date national tour selling out a slew of dates from Bristol to Brighton and beyond and is now extending her tour into the Autumn. Kicking off the new run of dates in Inverness on 30th August.

The Magical Lantern Festival enters its second year in Birmingham following a hugely successful festival last year. Due to the exceptional demand for tickets, to accommodate more visitors, this year we will be open five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday each week and open every day during the Xmas holidays apart from Xmas Eve and Xmas Day.

Birmingham-born, Warwickshire-raised comic wins prestigious comedy prize! Birmingham Comedy Festival and The Glee Club are pleased to announce Kai Samra as the recipient of the festival’s Breaking Talent Award 2017. The young comic picked up his prize at a packed Glee Club on Friday night (6 October 2017), where he was presented with his award by BBCWM’s Richard Wilford.

For the first time in its history, a Birmingham charity has reached the final stage of the Deutsche Bank UK charity partner process, and the charity’s Trustee Glynn Purnell is calling on Deutsche Bank Birmingham to support the campaign. Now one of the final six charities in the running, shortlisted from an original 80, Cure Leukaemia has embarked on a 10-day two-week campaign and with the help of patron Glynn and celebrities including Chris Froome, Geoff Thomas, Ian Wright and and Ben Foster.
