Becketts Farm Restaurant has undergone a £400K makeover to its popular eatery. The family farming business introduced its now multi-award winning restaurant in 1996 to compliment the on-site Farm Shop. After its last major refurbishment in 2008 and the restaurant’s continuing growth in popularity the decision was made to undertake a full refurbishment to maintain the ‘Modern Farmhouse Dining’ theme.

“It’s been a busy few months as we’ve dreamt up the details of a brand new kitchen including extension, brand new restaurant environment with an additional seating, re-imaged the coffee shop and completely refurbished the washrooms including the building of a brand new, dedicated baby change facility. We sincerely hope that our guests will love it.” - Jim Thompson, Hospitality Director at Becketts Farm

The biggest changes will be to the Coffee Shop and to the Kitchens back of house.

The coffee shop has been re-imaged, with a new counter layout and better queueing system. It’s been opened out to make the space both bigger and brighter.

The kitchen is the hub of our trade, and will have brand new equipment and layout to allow the team of chefs a better working space.

The re-opening will also see the Restaurant launch a brand new menu. Retaining many of its favourite staples including its two award winning dishes the Old Faithful Breakfast and the Hearty Ploughman’s Plank. The menu has been developed with the company ethos in mind, to support local producers and suppliers wherever possible. Nearly 100% of the menu is made from scratch by the talented team, led by Head Chef Andrew Cruikshank. New menu items include a delicious Oxtail Pie, a Gluten Free Breakfast, a Handmade Scotch Egg, and a 5oz Rump Steak Ciabatta.

Becketts Farm Restaurant and Coffee Shop both reopen on 18th February 2018.
